With two of the biggest attractions (literally) in Oman, it is hardly surprising that this is such a popular destination. Jabal Shams is the highest point in Oman at over 3,000m, while Wadi An Nakhur (the ‘Grand Canyon' of Oman) has some of the most stupendous views in the Sultanate. The Balcony Walk (Route 07) cuts a fine line between the two, and is arguably the best easy hike you could do in the whole country.
