Cartography Strategy
Our cartography team chose two distinct maps styles for this project. One, a traditional style with a more accurate geographical rendering of the country and routes. The other schematic, a very simplified version of the maps which prioritizes clarity and visual communication over precise geographical accuracy. This approach provided the client with two versatile options suitable for a range of purposes.
Creative Approach
Using Etihad Rail's brand guidelines as a foundation, Explorer began by crafting a range of colour and design options for the client's evaluation. Once their preferences were shared, our design team seamlessly integrated these choices to develop designs that harmonized land, sea, and routes, resulting in a distinctly modern and professional set of maps that align seamlessly with Etihad Rail's organisational aesthetic.
