Creative Approach
The design combines bold colours and thematic elements with illustrations of iconic animals and key attractions, adding a unique, engaging aesthetic that reflects the park’s character. These detailed illustrations help bring the map to life, creating visual appeal while differentiating key zones such as African and Asian Villages and the Safari Village. Family-friendly visuals, clear paths, and intuitive icons ensure the map is accessible to all visitors, blending playfulness with professionalism and aligning with Dubai Municipality’s branding.

Editorial Strategy
The editorial team conducted thorough research to gather accurate and engaging details about the park’s attractions, animal exhibits, and facilities. This research informed concise, informative descriptions that highlight major points of interest, such as the African and Asian Villages, as well as unique experiences like giraffe feeding and educational shows. Practical information, such as operating hours, services, and accessibility, was also included to ensure the map supports visitors’ needs. Translation and proofreading services were employed to make the map accessible to a wide, multicultural audience.

Mapping Approach
The cartographic process began with a detailed site survey to capture accurate layouts of the park’s zones and features. Using this data, the team created precise, thematic maps with colour-coded zones and custom icons for facilities. Trails, tram routes, and natural features were carefully layered to ensure intuitive navigation, supporting both exploration and Dubai Municipality’s vision of a world-class attraction.
