Far flung and rarely visited, Oman's largest island is a quiet destination. Also known as ‘Jazirat Masirah', this place remains true to its roots as a fishing community. As well as vibrant sunrises and sunsets, the island has a rich marine life, from turtles to humpback whales and its tranquil shores are a paradise for wildlife watchers. With only a handful of hotels, beach camping is an excellent option here.
