Most apartments in Berlin will have a connection for a washing machine either in the kitchen or bathroom. If you choose not to use it, the city is littered with launderettes or dry cleaners that’ll be happy to wash, iron and fold your dirty laundry. Some now even offer pick-up and delivery – for a charge. Should any dry cleaner lose or damage your goods, they’ll owe you the current value of the item. Look for a Wäscherei if you want a dry cleaner or a Waschsalon if you’ll be loading the machines yourself.
