Editorial Strategy
This complex project starts with the management of large amounts of data, in Arabic and English, about hundreds of speakers and sessions. Explorer’s editorial team maintains the accuracy of this data throughout the event, ensuring any changes are reflected across all deliverables in both languages. Bespoke content is created in line with Explorer’s editorial strategies, which are tailored to the audience and objectives of each different volume. Explorer has developed the editorial style guide for all WGS’s outputs, and our meticulous Arabic and English editors assure impeccable standards throughout the project.
Creative Approach
High-end print finishes, sophisticated design and creative use of imagery have transformed WGS’s books, introducing consistency in look and feel throughout the different volumes. The soft-touch hard-cover coffee table book, finished with khaliko fabric, gilt edging and metallic foiling, is enhanced with gatefold inserts making the printed commemorative work a tactile and interactive experience of the highlights of the summit. Creative use of the event photography ensures each page had visual impact in a sleek and modern layout.
