Mission to Mars

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, announced the UAE’s space ambitions with the dramatic launch of the Emirates Mars Mission. The mission aims not only to reach Mars, but to bring together the Arab world with a new message of hope, and a reminder of the Arabic civilisations which prospered through science and discovery.
