Fifth Avenue & Central Park
If you live in this area you are probably very rich, or married to someone who is – this is one of the most expensive streets in the world, and is often called ‘Millionaire’s Mile’. Fifth Avenue separates the east and west sides of Manhattan.

It is populated with tall apartment houses and formerly private mansions of Old New York families. This area is very residential, and those who live here have all the benefits of Central Park in their backyards. Most of the homes were built between 1900 and 1930 and have doormen, working fireplaces, patios and terraces. This area also has a lot of temporary housing options (luxurious serviced apartments) for those moving to New York or waiting for their apartment to be renovated.

Two words: Fifth Avenue. The street buzzes with the sound of thousands of cash registers and it’s where you’ll find the flagship stores of some of the world’s most famous brands.
