Narita Aitport

Narita Airport is the biggest international air hub in Japan and handles nearly all international flights out of the Kantô region. The airport has two terminals, both of which are easy to navigate, and the new electronic check-in system is very smooth with helpful staff to assist. Travellers leaving customs can get to buses, trains or the car park in less than five minutes. The airport is located in the Chiba-ken, about 60 kilometres from central Tokyo. The fastest train links to the city take about 50 minutes. Airport facilities are of a good standard with everything you would expect at a major international airport. A minor criticism would be the lack of places to eat and drink near the boarding gates. For flight information, call 0476 34 8000. You can contact the Narita Customs and Lost Property Office in Terminal 1 at 0476 32 2105 and in Terminal 2 at 0476 34 5220.
