Tax is an additional 5% and it is compulsory for restaurants to show their prices with tax, rather than just add it on to your bill at the end. Some restaurants will do this by showing both prices (before and after tax) by each menu item. In more upscale restaurants it is common for a 10% service charge to also be added to your bill.
