The usual courier suspects are happy to handle your express letters, including FedEx, UPS and Deutsche Post’s own DHL. All will pick up packages upon request. For overnight delivery of a letter within Germany, UPS will charge €24.20 and have it there by noon, or €57.45 if it has to be there by 08:30. Sending the same letter overnight to the US would cost €50. DHL wants €21 to deliver an express package before 09:00 within Germany and €51 to get it to the US the next day. Employees at any post office will accept packages for DHL, which is sometimes preferable than waiting for FedEx or UPS to stop by.
