Organising A Marriage (Muslim)
A marriage between two Muslims can be conducted at the Dubai Courts, as can a marriage between a Muslim man and a non-Muslim woman. However, a non-Muslim man cannot marry a Muslim woman; he must first convert to Islam. Different nationalities may have specific requirements, so contact your local embassy.
Prerequisites

- Bride is Muslim or Christian
- At least one partner is a UAE resident.
- Bride and groom must have a pre-marital health test.
What to bring
- Passports (originals and copies)
- At least one residence visa (copy)
- Proof that groom is Muslim
- Attested divorce certificate, if applicable
- Widows must show attested death certificate of deceased spouse.
- Legal guardians and two Muslim witnesses (they must bring their National IDs if locals, or original passports if they are expats).
- Formal approval from bride’s father or a close male relative. If bride has no father or brothers, an application must be made to the judge at the Sharia court to allow the marriage to proceed.
