The grassed area next to the Hilton Hotel is perfect for picnics; it is particularly popular during winter weekends when families gather and spend the day playing on the grass or swimming in the water. Family Park has some wonderful play areas, including a skateboard park, and pretty fountains.
To explore these attractions from a different perspective, visitors can cruise along by the Corniche on a traditional wooden dhow or cabin cruiser. Cruises generally last for an hour, and can be booked through a tour operator.
Dining
Several luxury hotels line the Corniche and offer fantastic dining and nightlife, including the Hilton Abu Dhabi, the Sheraton Abu Dhabi and the Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche. The skyline is ever-changing and the next few years will see the continued construction of architectural masterpieces, including hotels and residential developments.
