Getting Here
For most other visitors though, the way to Abu Dhabi is by air. Many international carriers now service Abu Dhabi International Airport, including the national airline Etihad. The airport is currently undergoing a huge extension which will further increase the number of flights available from across the region and the rest of the world. Alternatively, you may find cheaper flights to Dubai and from there it's around one and a half hours by taxi into the centre of Abu Dhabi. That should cost you around Dhs.300.
