Schools here enjoy an excellent reputation, and you won’t have the preschool and primary school overcrowding problems found further east. There are two German-English preschools: Aufgepasst (030 851 37 23, www.aufgepasst.de) and Lilolei (030 8639 9043, www.lilolei.de). The Nelson Mandela School is a tuition-free state-run German-English bilingual school. Wilmersdorf and Grunewald are also relatively convenient for the international schools in Dahlem, Kleinmachnow and Zehlendorf.
