Classes

Help the kids keep the grey matter working even during the school holidays by enrolling them in one of Dubai's many clubs and classes. There's a wealth of options to choose from, including children's theatre, swimming, gymnastics and arts and crafts.

Many parents get together in the parks (in the winter) and play centres (in the summer) around Dubai for their own impromptu after-school activities, so new families shouldn’t worry about long afternoons and bored kids.

After-School Activities
Many schools will run ECAs (Extra Curricular Activities) from kindergarten upwards. Generally, the younger years only have one ECA a week for around 30-60 minutes directly after school, while the older years may have multiple classes at various times. School-run ECAs are often included in the school fees, however, independent companies also hold classes at schools during the afternoons and evenings and charge term fees (which are far from cheap), as well as at weekends and holidays.
