Outside The City

The UAE’s biggest airport is Dubai International Airport (code: DXB), which has three terminals including one dedicated to Emirates. The Dubai World Central Al Maktoum International Airport, which is located closer to Abu Dhabi – near the Jebel Ali Free Zone and Jebel Ali Port – opened in late 2013. It will have up to four passenger terminals with an annual passenger capacity of 160 million. Budget airline Wizz Air was the first to take off from the airport, flying to various European destinations, with new carriers due to be added throughout 2014. Staying within the Abu Dhabi emirate you'll find the Al Ain airport, which flies to nine destinations and is served by seven airlines.
