Young families living in Charlottenburg sometimes complain that restaurants here are unfriendly to children, especially compared to those in districts further east. Ludwigkirchplatz and Savignyplatz have pockets of cafe life, along with a few jazz bars. If you’re looking for any sort of youthful bar or club scene, head elsewhere.
