Transport

Northern Kreuzberg feels far more like a central part of Berlin than its southern counterpart. The most convenient area for public transport is around Kottbusser Tor, where the U1 and U8 subway lines converge, making for a 10 minute ride to the centre of Mitte. The U7 subway line, which runs through southern Kreuzberg, is rather less convenient for connections to the rest of the city. The area around Viktoriapark and south of Bergmannstrasse feels most isolated.
