The greatest danger you’re likely to face walking through Prenzlauer Berg is a massive baby buggy blocking your path. The area around Eberswalder Strasse U-Bahn station can, however, become annoying in the evening, especially on weekends, when hordes of suburban teenagers gather to stand around, drink heavily and generally be in the way of anyone getting on or off the train. They’re not especially menacing, but many residents find them quite irritating.
