Westside

LA’s trendy Westside is a cosmopolitan network of neighbourhoods that stretch from the Wilshire Corridor to Brentwood. The area grew rapidly after the Great Depression, when many Angelenos moved to the area from Downtown, attracted by the Westside’s distinctly village-like atmosphere. It’s really more a collection of distinct communities, each with its own unique character, than a single slice of LA. The main areas are Brentwood, Westwood and Century City. Although Beverly Hills is technically part of Westside, it is generally recognised as a separate entity.
