‘Ojra’ bus passes can be purchased at the central bus station next to Al Wahda Mall or at any Red Crescent kiosk on the island. An inter-urban pass costs Dhs.40 for one month of unlimited use. For more information on Ojra call 800 55555 or visit ojra.ae where comprehensive bus route maps can be found and easily downloaded in PDF format. Those without passes can simply deposit a Dhs.2 in the silver box upon entering the inter-urban bus; drivers can’t provide change, so be sure to have a coin handy.
