Motorsports
If you fancy more of a challenge than racing the kids in the dodgems, consider getting involved in motor sports as a volunteer. Clubs are always looking for people to help organise and run events and it’s a good way to start the process of becoming a driver.
ClubSport events are a good starting point for new drivers. These are competitions usually held on a road, circuit or paddock and include 'basic events', during which competitors, including newcomers, can compete without specialised vehicles and expensive equipment. Events include motorkhana, autocross and sprints. Other events worth joining are competitor coaching and trials.
