An inland capital isn’t the obvious place to look for salt water aquariums, yet the city does its best to deliver. The venerable aquarium at Porte Dorée now has competition from the more central CinéAqua, whose curious mix of fish and flicks can be a fun indulgence on Trocadéro Hill; doubtless there's room for both. But if you simply must give the kids their fix of pirate-infused aquatic entertainment, make a day of it and head out of town to Sea Life.
