Much of Oman’s coastline is open and accessible and jetskiing is becoming a more popular pastime here, especially along the coast of Muscat. Be wary of fishermen and swimmers and it’s a good idea to remain 500m from the shore. In the past jet skiers have been prosecuted for accidents involving jetskis. Most hotels and resorts hire out jetskis for about RO 7 to 10 for half an hour. Make sure you get a life jacket and a helmet with the jetski.
