Art & Craft Supplies

Art and crafts supplies are easily come by: most stationery shops stock the basics, while for more technical tools Sekaido is a good bet. This huge art-supply megastore has several locations in the city and is well known for its ‘surprised Mona Lisa’ mascot. Discounts are available though the company’s ‘point card’. It stocks everything from paints and crayons to canvases and plaster casting supplies. Tokyu Hands has a great art department with doll-making supplies, as well as random parts of just about anything you might want to make. Okadaya, TOA and Yuzawaya round out the fabric arts categories, and also carry leather and other accessory making items. Loft and Ito-ya have a more limited supply but are always a good bet for rubber stamps (inkan and hanko) and the basics.
