Textiles
The Nippori area on the Yamanote line is the centre for fabrics in the city. The main street is lined with dozens of shops catering to all price ranges. If you’re looking for upholstery fabric, IKEA is a cheap, reliable option. Yuzawaya has two floors dedicated to all kinds of fabrics, and Okadaya has a whole building filled with every type and finish imaginable. TOA has three locations (Shibuya, Ikebukuro and Nakano) selling basics, with a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
