Second-Hand Items
Despite the Japanese love of all things new, second-hand goods are starting to gain popularity and second-hand and recycle shops are starting to multiply. Many sell everything from simple furniture to home decorations and sports equipment, and some will also do buyback, so if you are looking to unload unwanted goods it’s worth paying one a visit. Second-hand or recycle shops are easily recognisable as they’ll have signs saying ‘used’ or ‘recycle’ hung in the window, and many will have eye-catching street side racks.
