Lingerie

Department store lingerie sections are a good place to start, and they usually offer a selection of everyday basics and lace naughties from brands such as La Perla, Wacoal, Vivienne Tam, Calvin Klein and many other high-fashion brands. Barneys carries a very high-end selection of trousseau-style lingerie. Yuzawaya and Okadaya have large lingerie sections too, and there you’ll find lesser known brands like Body Wild that are pretty but won’t break the bank. If you want cute, go for Peach John, whose motto is ‘Lingerie is Love Jewellery’. Amos Style rounds out the bunch as the cheapest option, popular with students and high-school girls. Une Nana Cool is an affiliate of Wacoal where young ladies can choose bra straps and have small decorations sewn on for a nominal fee. MUJI and Uniqlo have great plain cotton basics, with camisoles costing as little as ¥1,000.
