Tailoring
Tailoring isn’t popular in Japan and tailors are few and far between. Some supply their own material, or others will allow you to bring your own. Prices vary greatly depending on the job and the tailor. The best way to find one is to get a recommendation from a friend or through word of mouth. Many dry-cleaning shops will do basic repairs and hemming, and may be able to recommend a good tailor for bigger jobs. Most tailors will also do alterations.
